YONA Privacy Policy

YONA is a listing-photo app from The Dove Design Co. LLC ("we", "us"). This policy says what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to get it deleted. If something here is unclear, write to hello@thedovedesignco.com.
What we collect
- Photos you take with YONA, and the information saved with each one: the room name, the time, which lens was used, how level the phone was, and how bright the room was.
- The property address you type for each listing, and the rooms you tick.
- Your name and email address, once accounts are turned on.
- Basic diagnostics: app version, phone model, and error reports when something fails.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or your photo library. YONA only saves to your Photos when you tap Save to Photos. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
How photos move
Photos stay on your phone until you send a listing. When you send it, the photos upload over an encrypted connection to storage we control, are edited on our computers, and the finished photos are sent back to your phone. Finished photos are kept so you can download them again. The original camera files are kept so we can re-edit a listing and improve the editing, as described below.
How we use what we collect
- To edit and deliver your listing photos.
- To run your account and answer you when you write to us.
- To find and fix problems in the app.
- To improve YONA's editing. With your permission, photos you send help teach YONA's editing models what a well-edited listing photo looks like. You can turn this off at any time in Menu, Account, "Help improve YONA's editing". Turning it off does not change the editing you receive.
Who else sees your data
- Companies that host our storage and servers, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for us.
- The people at The Dove Design Co. who review edits for quality.
- No one else, unless the law requires it. We do not send your photos to third-party AI services. If that ever changes, the app will name the service and ask your permission first.
How long we keep it
Finished photos and original camera files are kept while your account is open. When you delete a listing or your account, we delete its photos from our storage within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days.
Your choices
- Delete a listing from Previous listings.
- Delete your account and everything in it from Menu, Account, "Delete my data".
- Turn off "Help improve YONA's editing" in the same place.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold by writing to us.
What's in your photos
Listing photos show the inside of someone's home. You are responsible for having the owner's permission to photograph and share it. Please keep people, family photographs, mail and documents out of frame where you can. We do not run face recognition on anything.
Security
Photos travel over encrypted connections and are stored encrypted. Every file is tied to the account that sent it, and links to photos expire. No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you promptly.
Children
YONA is for working adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, the app will tell you before the change applies.
